Introducing Encore Presents!

MHYT’s Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) program features performers ages 13 and up presenting shows for early elementary audiences. Productions tour to schools, libraries, and community spaces across Denver, bringing live theatre directly to young audiences.​
​​​
With support from a director, the cast helps shape the whole show—making choices about costumes, props, set pieces, and more. It’s a creative, hands-on process where actors take real ownership of the work they bring to young audiences.​​

Get ready for a whirlwind of fun and laughter with Aesop Live!
Join Encore Presents as we bring Aesop’s famous fables to life, sharing clever animals, silly antics, and important lessons along the way. Kids will meet the clever Fox, the wise Tortoise, the speedy Hare, and many more as they race through story after story—morals included!

This energetic, interactive play is perfect for young audiences, encouraging imagination, curiosity, and a love of storytelling.

Performances are being finalized in coordination with our community venue partners. Additional performances may be added.
Please Note: This production will include some Friday morning performances, which will require performers to miss a portion of the school day.
